INSECT-RESPECT activity report 2024

2024 was an active year for us. Together with IKEA, we created new partner areas in Italy, Serbia and Romania. Monitoring of one of our existing partner areas showed the diversity of species that can be found in our insect-friendly habitats. Another major highlight was the film "THE ENTREPRENEUR THE VILLAGE AND THE ARTISTS" by filmmakers Julia Suermondt, Marcelo Busse and co-producer Christine von Fragstein. The film highlights Dr. Hans-Dietrich Reckhaus' campaign to save flies in Deppendorf with the artists Frank and Patrik Riklin from 2012. In 2025, it will be shown in various cinemas in Germany.
