Monitoring results from our areas
In 2025, we used three different monitoring systems on one of our product areas to gain a comprehensive and meaningful picture of insect diversity on site. Four years ago, we designed a flat roof in an industrial area near Römerstein-Böhringen in southern Germany to be insect-friendly in order to compensate for the loss of insects caused by products with the INSECT-RESPECT seal of approval. We involved three independent third parties to assess the ecological value of the areas:
