First INSECT-RESPECT area in the USA

The first INSECT-RESPECT area in the USA was created in the fall of 2025. In the city of Montgomery in the state of Illinois, the area around a Hörmann plant was designed to be insect-friendly. Hörmann is a family-run German company based in Steinhagen and is known worldwide for its high-quality doors, gates and access systems. The company has been an INSECT-RESPECT partner for many years, and we have already realized several areas for Hörmann in Germany. A diverse paradise for insects has now been created on the company premises in Montgomery - with numerous hiding places and a rich supply of food, so that it will soon be buzzing with activity. Our first area outside Europe!
