OUR ACTIVITIES

We stand for a new approach to insects and promote products, prevention and projects that raise awareness and promote insect habitats.

AWARENESS-RAISING

INSECT-RESPECT creates social awareness for insects, biodiversity and sustainability.

  • Short movie Little giants – about the value and the threat of insects
  • Research publications on insects: Why every fly counts, Let flies fly, and many others.
  • Online: Social media, newsletter, media relations
  • Network: We are THE lobby for insects

Goal: Creating a new relationship between humans and insects

DAY OF THE INSECTS

We have already held the Day of Insects six times, a unique conference where we encourage, inspire & jointly develop concrete approaches and ideas to rethink our relationship with insects.

Goal: Exchange & create the lobby for insects

SEAL OF QUALITY FOR PRODUCTS

Reduce, ecologize and compensate:

  • We calculate the insect loss from insect control products, make them more ecological and create insect-friendly compensation areas as compensation
  • For insect-removing products (e.g. fly screens), an insect-friendly conveyor surface is created
  • Information about the value and threat of insects and tips for preventing insects in the home are provided on every product that receives an award
  • Customers: Aldi, dm, Rossmann, Müller, Migros, …

Goal: To promote more insects than to combat them – Control only with sustainable solutions and compensation

INSECT-FRIENDLY
HABITATS

Certified insect-friendly habitats for Companies, cities, communities, associations, …

  • Ecological advantages: Regional & species-rich, a sustainable paradise for insects
  • Social benefits: Helping to create the area through hands-on construction sites

Goal: Transform all unused areas into insect-friendly paradises.
